M&S to charge 5p for carrier bags

posted under , , by Mehedi
Marks and Spencer is to begin charging its food shoppers for carrier bags. Customers will have to pay 5p for plastic bags, with the money raised going to an environmental charity. Chief executive Sir Stuart Rose said the company wanted to "make it easy for our customers to do their bit to help the environment".

My guess may be the money will go towards helping Israel build new modern cities in Palestine, or perhaps buy more bulldozers to break houses of thousands in Palestine.

Additional info about M&S:

M&S supports Israel with approximately $233 million in trade every year (Jerusalem Report, 5 June 2000) .

The Israeli ambassador to England recently honored Marks & Spencer for the company's continued support of Israel. (JTA, 13 December 2000).

In 1998 Sir Richard Greenbury Marks & Spencer, received the Jubilee Award by the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. This is the highest tribute ever awarded by the "State of Israel" in recognition of those individuals and organizations, that through their investments and trade relationships, have done the most to strengthen the Israeli economy. Arsenal striker Eduardo has been discharged from hospital 4 days after undergoing surgery on a horrific leg injury on Saturday.

The 25-year-old suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle. Eduardo will have his leg in plaster for the next six to eight weeks before beginning a rehabilitation programme. Arsenal say the Croatia international should be running again in six months.

Eduardo is expected to be out of the game for nine months

Britain in need of death penalty?

posted under , , by Mehedi
Ok, I know you can't trust 90% of the things Daily Sun reports but this survey shows a staggering 99 percent of the 95,000 readers want death penalty to be reintroduced.

Think British people finally realising there's no point for us (the taxpayers) to pay for these filthy rapists, paedophile, murderers to be kept alive in jail for 30 years or more.

Seriously why should we? They are nothing but a desease to the society.

End of Stage6

Although I'm not a big fan of films, or visit sites like youtube as often as some of my mates, but I have to admit the recent announcement by Stage6 is kinda upseting: http://www.stage6.com/blog/108/

Stage6 is like the only real high quality website, which allows user to upload divx quality videos. Oh well insha'Allah someone will be rich enough to make a Islamic version of Stage6 one day.

Varm it up

Eduardo's horrific injury

posted under by Mehedi
If you missed MOTD yesterday, you wouldn't know how sickening this incident was. Arsenal was playing Birmingham and striker Eduardo suffered a horrific injury. For copyright reasons youtube removed all the videos, but images on video are still available. See it at your own risk.

He had to have a surgery, and have been told he will miss the rest of the season and Euro 2008, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said he fears a "much longer" absence. Lets hope he can play again!
